From our base, close to Diss, we are well placed to cover the Diss, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and Eye areas, although we do regularly travel further afield. We have a proven record in the restoration sector, and have built a strong reputation for the quality of works produced.
Company Director Ben, comes from a strong restoration background, having served a traditional apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery at a highly respected restoration main contractor. Ben has had the experience of working on many many listed and historic buildings in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire, ranging from grade 2 listed timber framed cottages, to stately homes, churches and cathedrals. Ben Barber Carpentry was founded in 2013, and incorporated as a ltd company in 2018. Having built on our reputation of high quality carpentry and joinery work, we know provide a complete building restoration service, acting as a principle contractor. We can cover all your restoration needs, from carpentry and joinery, through to brickwork, flintwork, masonry and lime plastering.
We provide Traditional Restoration and Carpentry services for listed and historic buildings. This covers a broad spectrum of trades, of which we can provide for all scenarios. Whether it be timber frame repairs to a listed timber frame cottage, lime Plastering, re-pointing or rebuild of brickwork and masonry, through to electricians and plumbers, we provide the complete package required for the restoration of your property.
